EVENT 29 Developing writing skills 3: paragraph development

In a paragraph, the sentence that states the main idea is called a topic sentence. The topic sentence is often the first sentence of the paragraph. The following sentences support the topic sentence with examples and details. The concluding sentence at the end of the paragraph repeats keywords from the topic sentence.
